About the position

As a Product Manager at Angstrom, you will lead the development of a pioneering decentralized trading system, working closely with the Head of Engineering to ensure the successful execution and delivery of protocols that enhance on-chain liquidity markets. This role is integral to addressing key challenges in decentralized finance (DeFi) and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment in SoHo, Manhattan.

Responsibilities

• Lead product management for the development of Angstrom, a decentralized trading system.
• Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of protocols.
• Oversee product development processes, manage timelines, and coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive the development of solutions addressing loss-vs-rebalancing (LVR) for liquidity providers and optimizing execution for swappers.
• Utilize project management tools like JIRA and GitHub to manage workflows.
• Ensure product alignment with broader organizational goals in blockchain and decentralized finance.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in product management, preferably within software development or blockchain/DeFi.
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and GitHub.
• Experience in crypto-related projects with an understanding of engineering requirements (e.g., Rust and Reth).
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
