About the position

The Product Manager role is a hybrid position based in Plano, TX, focused on leading a scrum team in the development and enhancement of e-commerce products. The role requires a strong technical background and experience in product management, particularly in writing user stories, defining product direction, and ensuring a high-quality user experience throughout the product lifecycle. The position is initially a one-year contract with a requirement for local candidates to work on-site at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Write user stories and set the product direction at the team level.
• Guide product development by defining and communicating detailed software product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own the portion of the acquisition funnel and serve as the voice of the customer.
• Conduct use case development, story grooming, and business case planning.
• Define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and plan product releases.
• Engage in technical refinement with architects and collaborate with UX and QA teams.
• Analyze insights and Voice of Customer (VOC) data to inform product decisions.

Requirements

• Past experience as a scrum team Product Manager.
• Experience working with UX, QA teams, and product releases.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce acquisition funnels and launching customer-facing front-end experiences.
• Technical product management experience with a focus on user experience.

Nice-to-haves

• CSPO, PMC, or equivalent product certifications.
• MBA with a technical background.
