About the position

The Product Manager role at IBM involves driving cross-platform products and services, specifically focusing on Data Integration capabilities within the Data & AI portfolio. This position requires a technical and analytical leader who can transform complex customer challenges into simple, elegant solutions while collaborating with engineering teams and other product managers. The role encompasses the entire product planning lifecycle, from market validation to strategic execution, ensuring that customer needs are met and product innovation is driven by data and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering and the global Product Management team to identify and document customer needs and use cases to define the product roadmap.
• Execute on the product roadmap and prioritize features designed to satisfy unmet customer needs and emerging challenges.
• Collaborate with product marketing to create content and compelling messaging that clearly communicates the product value proposition and market strategy.
• Analyze and understand the competitive landscape of the data integration market.
• Closely track industry trends and adapt product strategy accordingly.
• Drive product roadmap innovation through rapid triage of facts and data.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of bringing compelling product offerings to customers.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in English and exceptional presentation skills.
