About the position

The Senior Product Manager at Trane Technologies is a key role responsible for managing the product lifecycle and ensuring that product and marketing efforts align with the company's strategic goals. This position involves developing product roadmaps, conducting market analyses, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to enhance product value and drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product through the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision.
  • Develop product strategy roadmap and tactical execution plan for the product, including timelines, goals, and investments that support growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal experts and channel partners on customer requirements.
  • Interact directly with customers as needed.
  • Ensure product design, quality, reliability, and profitability goals are met by working closely with engineering.
  • Engage and collaborate with functional partners in developing the strategy roadmap.
  • Communicate product roadmap and plan with the Business Unit product planning team; coordinate the plan with functional partners.
  • Review and adjust the distribution strategy for each product/service line with the sales team based on performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other technical related degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of product management or other relevant experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to work across different functions, regions, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen is required.
  • Excellent organization skills and flexibility to handle a variety of time-sensitive tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective support on a broad range of activities requiring attention to detail.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of the transport refrigeration business and trucking industry.
