About the position

The Product Manager will be responsible for defining and communicating the product vision and strategy that aligns with company goals and market needs. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy that aligns with company goals and market needs.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key features, priorities, and timelines.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to understand customer pain points and identify new opportunities.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, testing, launch, and iteration.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product development and execution.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback, prioritize user stories, and work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure products provide an optimal customer experience.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clear requirements and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress, releases, and future plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and launch plans that ensure the successful adoption of new features or products.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a relevant industry.
  • Proven track record of managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including iterative improvements.
  • Strong understanding and experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to deeply understand customer needs and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and technology stacks, including APIs, cloud services, and data platforms.
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research, analyze competitors, and gather customer insights.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
  • Experience in specific industries such as Fintech, SaaS, eCommerce, or others.
  • Proficiency in using product management tools such as Jira, Trello, Aha!, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Tableau.
