We are currently seeking energetic product managers to join our TikTok Seller Commerce team. This team is dedicated to creating a seamless end-to-end experience for merchants who wish to join our platform. This includes aspects such as Seller Onboarding, Seller Growth, Listings, and Logistics. The focus of this role will be on Merchant Growth, where you will be responsible for identifying key factors that contribute to the growth of merchants using the TikTok Commerce platform. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in product management, allowing you to apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for your personal and professional growth. The internship runs for 12 weeks, beginning in May/June 2025, and we encourage candidates to clearly state their availability in their resumes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our sellers, including their goals, usage patterns, and expectations.
  • Leverage your understanding of sellers, data, and cross-functional partners to develop valuable and delightful experiences.
  • Ship products that build business and user value.
  • Operate based on first principles and curiosity, using data and a hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Build a systematic way of prioritizing work and creating a clear roadmap for your area.
  • Execute on your roadmap, aligning and partnering with stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Focus on growth by interpreting nuances in data, conversion funnels, and experimentation to enhance growth.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a full-time MBA or related technical field.
  • Some hands-on product management experience through real-world projects.
  • Strong logical and critical thinking skills, utilizing a facts and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly analytical, with a focus on user needs and the ability to define a product roadmap in ambiguous situations.
  • Data and action-oriented, even when limited data is available.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a scrappy and proactive approach.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience conceiving, designing, or building front-end interfaces and optimizing funnels.
  • Interest in integrating technology, business, and design to create value.
