About the position

The Oracle Product Engineer (PE) role is crucial within the Supply Chain Operations organization, focusing on managing production support engineering for Oracle's GPU and storage racks. This position involves interfacing with various engineering teams to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process, from prototype builds to end-of-life management. The PE will take ownership of rack-level quality, develop manufacturing specifications, and implement testing protocols, all while working in a fast-paced environment that demands technical expertise and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production support engineering for specific products post-design transfer to high volume production.
  • Interface with design, process, test, and reliability engineering to resolve issues.
  • Support Oracle's GPU and storage racks, ensuring quality throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive rack-level manufacturing specifications in collaboration with multiple teams.
  • Translate specifications into clear test requirements and validate test plans with test engineering teams.
  • Implement tests at various manufacturing sites and troubleshoot issues in the manufacturing process.
  • Manage ECO cut-in/phase-in processes for smooth product change integration.
  • Proactively identify and report on quality trends and issues, sustaining products with cost reduction and yield improvements.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to team members, contributing as a leading individual and team member.

Requirements

  • 8 years of relevant work experience in systems integration and hardware manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a mix of hardware, firmware, software, and networking skills.
  • Excellent technical management skills to lead technical activities from prototype to end of life.

  • Experience with BOM structure and its business impact in manufacturing levels.
