About the position

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: As a Product Marketing Intern for Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for supporting the Aftermarket Product Management team in executing the Asia Pacific Product Management strategy. This position is designed for individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and are looking to gain practical experience in product marketing within a global company. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Product Manager to understand the target market and market competitors, and to plan and implement appropriate program responses. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the successful launch of new aftermarket programs and in supporting various pricing analytical projects. You will also facilitate the development of aftermarket program introduction plans and support collaboration with other functions and global locations to ensure the global profitability of the product line. This role involves monitoring and tracking regional data for program scorecards on a monthly and quarterly basis, as well as assisting in drafting the Aftermarket Product Management monthly and quarterly reports. Additionally, you will be involved in addressing daily operational issues for product lines, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the product management process in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and deploy all aspects of the marketing promotional matrix to ensure the successful launch of new aftermarket programs.
  • Plan for and implement appropriate program responses in collaboration with the Product Manager, based on target market and market competitors.
  • Participate in pricing improvement projects and support various pricing analytical projects such as competitive product assessments and commodity costs indices.
  • Support the development, implementation, and measurement of results of aftermarket product programs.
  • Facilitate the development of aftermarket program introduction plans.
  • Support collaboration with other functions and global locations to ensure global profitability of the product line.
  • Assist in tracking and following up regional data for program scorecards on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Help draft the Aftermarket Product Management monthly and quarterly report.
  • Assist in addressing daily operational issues for product lines.

Requirements

  • Currently studying an undergraduate degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint computer programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Second Asian language desirable but not essential.
