About the position

As the Product Marketing and Operations Manager, you are the orchestrator ensuring that from inception to market success, operational facets within Product Management run with precision and efficiency. Your responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of activities coordinating actions between Business Unit Management, Product Planning, and Marketing. This position is part of the Global Product Management group located in Wood Dale, Illinois and will be hybrid. In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of product marketing, including creating and maintaining a master calendar for product-specific campaigns by technology. You will develop a mechanism for prioritizing product campaigns based on ROI and track campaign success, progress, and action items in partnership with Business Unit Management, regional marketing managers, demand generation director, and content director. Additionally, you will aid in identifying short-term revenue opportunities and coordinate resulting campaigns, ensuring that LEx activities are occurring on time, on schedule, and with quality. You will also support product content creation, ensuring consistency across technologies in terms of brand messaging and common language to describe common features. Your role will also involve visual management and internal product team communications, which includes creating physical global product org visual management boards and hosting kaizen events to understand important metrics. You will be responsible for updating the VMB data and ensuring its ongoing maintenance, as well as supporting agenda creation and slides for product team meetings. In terms of product management tracking and report generation, you will keep track of IPV and maintain the IPV table, ensuring the accuracy of the MPL via regular reviews with product planners for updates. You will also keep track of NPD calculations and support the creation of monthly Ops report outs and slides. As the global owner for Guided Selling in CPQ, you will ensure that Guided Selling in CPQ for SE's is available at the launch of new products, coordinating with BUM and regional RPMs to determine the best bundles and quoting strategies by region. You will execute MOL of the Guided Selling system to account for changes in product offerings and represent Product Management on the Global CPQ governance board.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or experience in a senior product manager or marketing role working with a technical product is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related role
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve conflicts across cross-functional groups
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and experience coordinating various tasks, projects, and resources
  • A strong understanding of the marking and coding market, industry trends, and user experiences
