About the position

The Product Marketing Coordinator at Lodge Cast Iron plays a crucial role in supporting the Product Marketing team in the development and management of new and existing products. This position is integral to ensuring that products are launched on time and that the product portfolio is effectively managed. The coordinator will be responsible for setting up new items in internal systems, which includes managing UPCs, costs, specifications, and descriptions. Additionally, the role involves proofing creative materials, including packaging and marketing collateral, to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand standards. In this collaborative environment, the Product Marketing Coordinator will communicate product updates across various cross-functional teams, including Brand Engagement, Culinary, and Creative teams. This position requires a proactive approach to follow up on project needs and assist in creating presentations for both internal and external stakeholders. The coordinator will maintain accurate product information and work closely with Product Managers to establish schedules and track project progress using project management systems. The role also involves coordinating cross-functional meetings and collaborating with Sales and Product Managers on retailer-specific opportunities. Responding to sample requests and product inquiries from Customer Care and Sales is also part of the responsibilities. The Product Marketing Coordinator will manage some entry-level projects and perform other tasks as assigned, making this a dynamic and engaging position for someone passionate about product marketing and cooking.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Managers in the on-time development and launch of products
  • Set up new products across multiple systems (UPCs, costs, specs, descriptions, etc.)
  • Proof packaging, marketing materials and price catalogs
  • Proactively follow-up on upcoming projects needs
  • Communicate product and marketing updates to cross-functional teams
  • Assist in creating presentations for internal and external use
  • Maintain accurate product information
  • Work closely with Product Managers to help set up schedules and track projects in project management system
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings
  • Work closely with Sales and Product Managers on retailer-specific opportunities
  • Respond to sample request and product questions from Customer Care and Sales
  • Support Project management of some entry-level projects
  • All other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable learning and working in multiple systems
  • Ability to prioritize between numerous tasks
  • Excellent organization, time management and scheduling skills
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to think strategically
