About the position

As the Product Marketing Director at Document Storage Systems Inc, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our product strategy with effective sales and marketing tactics to drive success and achieve outstanding results. Your extensive experience in US Healthcare product marketing, particularly in acute care, mental health, and behavioral health across both commercial and state markets, will be key to your success in this role. You will leverage your deep knowledge of major EHR systems in Acute Care, Ambulatory, and Behavioral Health to inform and guide our marketing strategies, enhancing product positioning and market relevance. Understanding the patient journey and healthcare models will be essential to tailor our marketing efforts effectively. In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Sales and the Director of Juno Health Marketing to ensure the smooth integration of product information from Product Operations and to develop innovative programs that drive demand. You will collaborate regularly with Product Line Managers, the Director of Product Management, and the VP of Product Operations to achieve our goals. Your responsibilities will include developing product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas, conducting market intelligence to understand our buyers and their key buying criteria, and assessing the competitive landscape to inform our strategies. You will also be responsible for developing a marketing plan with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support customer retention and acquisition. Planning the launches of new products and managing the cross-functional implementation of these plans will be crucial. As a thought leader for Juno Health, you will engage in speaking engagements and written works, supporting Public Relations activities. Additionally, you will train our sales channels on the problems we solve for our buyers and users, developing sales tools such as value propositions, competitive positioning, and ROI metrics. Your role will also involve understanding and documenting our buyers' processes, assessing the effectiveness of marketing programs, and supporting brand awareness through attendance at industry events and trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product operations and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Conduct market intelligence to understand our buyers, their buying criteria, and the competitive landscape.
  • Develop a marketing plan with the marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support customer retention and acquisition.
  • Plan the launches of new products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan, including customer-facing release information.
  • Act as a thought leader for Juno Health externally, including speaking engagements and written works, and support Public Relations activities.
  • Train sales channels on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop sales tools, including value propositions, competitive positioning, launch scripts, customer proof points, and ROI metrics.
  • Understand and document our buyers' processes, driving changes to sales and marketing processes based on insights gained.
  • Assess the effectiveness of marketing programs that support products and report back to the business on required changes.
  • Support Juno Health brand awareness through attendance at local and national industry events, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including maintaining CRM data, time reporting, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business and Marketing.
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience with at least 3 years in a market-facing role.
  • Knowledge of major Acute Care, Ambulatory, and Behavioral Health industry EHRs.
  • Knowledge and application of EHR acumen.
  • Understanding of the patient journey and related healthcare models.
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot, and Omniture, and Google Analytics.
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills.
  • Strong public speaking skills and solid writing ability.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and schedules.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Project, JIRA/Atlassian, or Basecamp.

Nice-to-haves

  • Pragmatic Institute Certified (PMC) III or higher preferred.
