About the position

The Product Marketing Director at Nasdaq is responsible for managing product marketing for the Data and Index businesses. This role connects product strategy with sales and marketing to launch new products and drive growth. The director will handle product positioning and differentiation throughout the buyer's journey, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales success. The position requires collaboration with various teams to create impactful messaging and content for multi-channel campaigns, while also mentoring product marketing specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product marketing for Data and Index businesses.
  • Connect product strategy with sales and marketing to launch new products.
  • Handle product positioning and differentiation throughout the buyer's journey.
  • Serve as a mentor to product marketing specialists, setting priorities and managing performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing functions to create impactful messaging and content for campaigns.
  • Develop and educate internal teams on customer personas and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to power high-performing marketing campaigns.
  • Create marketing artifacts that map to integrated marketing campaigns and product promotion themes.
  • Manage product-marketing centric partnerships and relationships with key organizations.
  • Lead and report on key projects and initiatives within the Marketing organization.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of B2B/SaaS product marketing experience.
  • Proven success in launching new products and/or new GTM product promotion.
  • Experience in financial services/Fintech product marketing preferred.
  • Excellent writing skills for creating content and collateral.
  • Experience with persona-based marketing and audience-centric content generation.
  • Successful track record of working in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Creativity and interest in trying and learning new things.
  • Self-directed, resourceful, and accountable with a positive attitude.
