About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Amazon Handmade is responsible for shaping, inventing, and launching new marketing channels while managing and optimizing existing efforts for both Amazon Selling Partners and Customers. This role requires a customer-obsessed, data-driven individual who can operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong communication skills to drive ideas from conception to execution. The successful candidate will manage the marketing strategy for Handmade's artisan community, ensuring innovative experiences and processes that support Selling Partners and enhance Customer Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the selling partner marketing strategy for Handmade's artisan community, including newsletters and the Handmade Hub.
  • Manage multiple customer marketing and merchandising channels simultaneously, ensuring consistent progress and results.
  • Experiment and test existing and new marketing channels and merchandising placements.
  • Collaborate with North America Stores Marketing (NASM) to drive business requirements and alignment for new marketing features.
  • Launch new marketing outlets to increase awareness and engagement with Amazon Handmade.
  • Own campaigns from end-to-end, including creative, targeting, segmentation, planning, execution, reporting, and optimization.
  • Report key campaigns and marketing metrics to leadership and the broader organization.
  • Manage external partners to develop marketing programs.
  • Present ideas to various levels of the organization to gain support for initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation, including macros, charts, and pivot tables.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance across various channels.
