We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team, focusing on our AR Platform. This role is pivotal in defining the Augmented Reality industry through innovative products and powerful creation tools like Lens Studio, Camera Kit, and our suite of developer APIs. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, and Partnerships teams to build and launch products while driving their adoption within the developer and creator communities. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research and analysis to understand market needs, identify key trends, and lead initiatives to capture growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid vision for engaging AR creators and developers, thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills to drive impact across various teams. You will leverage your market knowledge and analytical mindset to inform the product roadmap, develop global go-to-market strategies, and coordinate ongoing marketing efforts to enhance awareness, understanding, and adoption of Snapchat's AR Platform. This role requires a recognized expert in the Augmented Reality space, capable of executing strategies that include product positioning, narrative development, internal communications, and marketing activations. You will lead extensive market research to identify new opportunities and influence our AR Platform product roadmap, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Be a recognized expert in the Augmented Reality space and collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Partnerships Managers to develop and execute global go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead extensive market research to identify new opportunities through structured analysis, market trends, competitive benchmarking, and feedback.
  • Coordinate and drive successful alignment across cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Communications, Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Engineering.
  • Articulate the value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences through excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Inspire and educate internal and external teams about the AR Platform.
  • Build frameworks and processes to structure conversations and drive alignment at all levels of the company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in product marketing, product management, internet technology, strategy consulting, corporate banking, or other relevant digital marketing experience.
  • BA/BS degree in business, economics, psychology, design, marketing, or another related field (equivalent years of experience).
  • Strong understanding of platform developer ecosystem dynamics, including products, tools, integrations, and monetization.
  • Solid track record in launching products and driving global adoption.
  • Experience working closely with creators and developers to understand their needs and translate them into platform product ideas.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the AR/VR industry is a plus.
  • Design experience is a plus.
  • MBA preferred.
