About the position

The role involves driving the Autonomous Driving market segment within AMD's Embedded Marketing Team, focusing on automotive technology. The position requires collaboration with various teams to develop strategies that enhance customer engagement and drive revenue growth in the automotive infotainment and autonomous driving sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Market segment strategy and business plan development
  • Market trend analysis
  • Competitive and opportunity analysis
  • AMD product value proposition analysis and evangelization
  • Product pricing and negotiation
  • Generate and maintain segment marketing collateral
  • Drive customer-specific design win strategies
  • Own customer engagement from discovery, design win, to revenue
  • Create sales training material
  • Own legal contract process with customers
  • Create and maintain segment/customer Market Requirements Documents (MRDs)
  • Work with product and engineering teams to ensure market/customer requirements flow through product and engineering requirements
  • Help create outbound collateral as part of market development activities

Requirements

  • Progressive years of technology experience, with focused experience in the Automotive field
  • Experience with Infotainment and/or Autonomous driving technologies
  • Semiconductor experience preferred
  • Experience with taking customer engagements to production is a plus
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with a strong sense of customer orientation
  • Willingness to travel

  • MBA desirable, but not required
