About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Banking Financial Services and Insurance at Informatica is responsible for shaping the growth strategy within the BFSI sector. This role involves developing and executing go-to-market initiatives to enhance brand awareness and generate demand, ultimately empowering the sales team and partners to achieve success. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) initiatives to enhance brand awareness and generate demand.
  • Serve as the voice of the market within the organization, ensuring alignment between product, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Conduct research on emerging trends and innovations in banking, financial services, and insurance.
  • Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for the BFSI vertical, aligning product messaging with industry pain points.
  • Gather insights from customers and sales teams to refine messaging and strategy.
  • Present insights and strategies to leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Create compelling content like white papers, blogs, and webinars to position Informatica as an industry innovator.
  • Craft messaging and value propositions tailored to BFSI customers.
  • Build industry-specific stories and customer success stories.
  • Collaborate with product teams to translate technical capabilities into understandable language for BFSI audiences.
  • Partner with sales teams to equip them with the necessary knowledge and tools for effective selling.
  • Create industry-specific assets like pitch decks and case studies.
  • Deliver targeted training sessions for sales teams on the BFSI market and buyer personas.
  • Work with field marketing to design and execute campaigns targeting BFSI accounts.
  • Identify key decision-makers and design campaigns to engage them effectively.
  • Showcase the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Build relationships with customers to develop compelling case studies and joint marketing initiatives.
  • Track the effectiveness of marketing efforts using data and metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of product marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in the banking, financial services, and insurance industry.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills.
  • Ability to present in front of an audience on BFSI topics.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics in enterprise/SaaS software, cloud, and AI.
  • Ability to develop innovative messaging and marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools.
