About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Batesville will play a crucial role in developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for software technology and products. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and marketing expertise to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of software solutions in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between product management and marketing, translating technical features into customer benefits and ensuring the product's success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between technical, customer and business teams to collaborate on product visions and strategies.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans for product launches, including target audience identification, competitive analysis, messaging, promotional activities and launch strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product management, customer success) to ensure alignment in go-to-market activities.
  • Manage marketing budget spend through invoice approvals, payment, and reconciliation.
  • Develop and manage customer stories and case studies that showcase the value and success of our software solutions.
  • Represent the company and product at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences.
  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our software products and technology solutions portfolio in the market.
  • Work with the Marketing Services Team to create and execute marketing campaigns (email, digital, social) that drive awareness and demand for the product.
  • Develop sales tools and collateral (presentations, case studies, whitepapers) that support the sales team in effectively communicating the value of the product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; and a minimum of 7 years related technology, product marketing and strategy experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in product marketing and/or technology marketing experience.
  • Data-driven with advanced analytical acumen and the ability to effectively analyze data, translate to insights to action and present to an executive audience.
  • Deep experience in Product Marketing, Marketing Strategy, GTM execution of software and digital Products.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and SaaS business models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer benefits.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office programs (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing tools, system, CRM, and Analytics tools.

  • Experience with market research and competitive intelligence.
  • Preferred experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Preferred Familiarity with agile product development processes.
