About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Cirrus Logic will play a crucial role in driving revenue and shaping the product direction for advanced mixed-signal audio, camera controller, and sensing solutions. This position involves leading cross-functional teams to define innovative products and technologies that enhance end-user experiences, while also serving as the primary contact for strategic customers throughout the development and production phases.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic account product management and business development for mixed-signal solutions, focusing on audio, camera controller, and sensing custom ASICs and semi-custom ASICs.
  • Work closely with internal multi-functional engineering teams to define performance and system level requirements of new products for strategic customers.
  • Independently create detailed documentation including product, marketing, and business review collateral.
  • Apply detailed understanding of financial metrics to support product line business objectives.
  • Communicate program details and status updates on a regular basis, both internally and to strategic customers.
  • Display confidence in presenting technical information by having a sufficient understanding of the product or technology.
  • Promote and drive advanced IP and technology developments that align with the product line strategy, anticipating future customer, market, and product line needs.
  • Clearly communicate product/technology value propositions and differentiation.
  • Perform thorough technical and financial competitive analysis.
  • Develop business relationships internally and with primary customer contacts.
  • Manage expectations and understand needs of key collaborators and decision makers.
  • Ability to manage competing tasks and priorities independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of product marketing, product management, technical marketing, applications, systems or design engineering experience.
  • Self-starter and willing to work in an independent and flexible work environment.
  • Excellent technical writing, project management, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or MBA.
  • 7+ years of technical marketing, design, applications or system engineering, supporting power, or battery management ICs.
