About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager on the Consumer Product Marketing Team at Discord, you will lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for consumer products. This role focuses on market research, positioning, launch strategy, and ongoing product vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user engagement and trust.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Go-To-Market strategy grounded in market awareness and user empathy.
  • Own GTM plans end-to-end and coordinate with creative, brand, and communications teams.
  • Develop clear, cohesive, differentiated messaging for key audience segments.
  • Become a subject matter expert to collaborate with product management and other teams.
  • Act as the internal champion for the customer, guiding marketing strategies based on user needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience including 2+ years in consumer tech PMM.
  • Ability to analyze insights and strategically co-build product vision and positioning.
  • Proven experience in developing sophisticated go-to-market plans across multiple channels.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex concepts across the organization.
  • Ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
