About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Defense at Scale i/o will serve as a strategic link between the Product and Marketing teams, focusing on driving the success of defense-focused solutions. This role requires a dynamic and experienced professional with a background in SaaS marketing, particularly within the defense or maritime industries, to develop and execute impactful marketing initiatives that emphasize the unique value of the company's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear and compelling positioning and messaging for the Company's defense solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing team to design and implement go-to-market strategies for new defense product launches and feature updates.
  • Lead market research efforts, gathering insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis to shape product development and marketing strategies.
  • Create sales materials such as presentations, case studies, and product collateral to support the sales team in communicating the value of their defense solutions.
  • Work closely with marketing leads to provide strategic input and messaging for defense-related marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Produce high-quality content including whitepapers, webinars, and blog posts that drive awareness and thought leadership within the defense market.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to organize attendance at industry events as well as organizing internal events as required.
  • Foster strong relationships with defense customers to collect feedback, success stories, and testimonials, leveraging them to drive customer advocacy and retention.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success of product marketing efforts and make data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS product marketing, preferably within the technology or defense industries.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for software products.
  • Strong analytical abilities to translate market data into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel as needed (with prior notice).
