About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Exposure Management at Rapid7 is responsible for shaping the narrative around the company's products and driving market success. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to position Rapid7's solutions as the preferred choice for organizations managing cyber threats. The position requires strategic thinking, market insight, and hands-on execution to ensure the products stand out in a competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling messaging and market positioning for various stakeholders and personas.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the cybersecurity market landscape and buyer personas.
  • Support planning and executing the launch of new Exposure Management offerings and solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer in internal discussions impacting product strategy.
  • Engage with industry analysts to brief them on product launches and solicit feedback.
  • Drive thought leadership by leveraging Rapid7 Labs and research insights.
  • Participate in webcasts, podcasts, events, and other demand-generation activities.
  • Guide and contribute to sales and partner enablement initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on market development and product marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in Product Marketing or a related role in a high-paced B2B tech environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or related domains.
  • Confident public speaking skills for meetings, webcasts, and events.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
