About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Future Glasses at Meta Reality Labs is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy and execution for a new line of AI and AR glasses. This role involves collaborating closely with product teams to ensure that market and consumer perspectives are integrated into product development, ultimately driving adoption and business growth. The position requires a deep understanding of the wearables ecosystem and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing strategies and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an ongoing canonical understanding of the wearables ecosystem and competitive landscape to identify GTM considerations and growth opportunities.
  • Lead the development of go-to-market plans for new products and drive integrated efforts across cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and validate audience definition, product positioning, naming, and go-to-channel strategies.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to build with the customer at the core, using data and analyses to inspire change.
  • Partner with marketing, communications, and sales teams to create product marketing communications, including press releases and campaigns.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of relevant product marketing experience influencing product roadmaps and developing go-to-market strategies in partnership with product teams.
  • Demonstrated balance of creative and analytical thinking, with a clear vision and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform and influence product strategy.
  • Experience launching physical consumer products, such as consumer electronics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience identifying and analyzing long-term critical problems and driving solutions across marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance.
  • Experience with retail and POS strategies for consumer electronics, including product demos and education.
  • Growth mindset, viewing problems as opportunities and ambiguity as adventure.
  • Experience in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, or hardware/software platforms.
  • MS / MBA degree.
