About the position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. As a Product Marketing Manager for the AWS Support tooling portfolio, you will lead product marketing for a suite of services including AWS Well-Architected, AWS Trusted Advisor, AWS Health, and AWS re:Post/re:Post Private. These services enhance customer-facing capabilities and assist customers in architecting, migrating, modernizing, and operating their businesses at scale. Your role will involve developing compelling positioning and messaging strategies to drive awareness and adoption of these tools, creating engaging content, and delivering programs that resonate with customers. In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams to distill key functionalities and benefits into effective marketing messages. You will be responsible for crafting a variety of content types, including presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos, and how-to guides, ensuring they are effectively distributed across multiple channels. Additionally, you will oversee the web strategy and manage AWS-owned marketing channels, including social media, on-network promotions, events, and email campaigns. Your efforts will be crucial in driving successful service launches and continuously measuring and optimizing product marketing initiatives to achieve business goals. This role is situated within the Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team at AWS, which is dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth across a diverse range of customers, from small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level clients, including public sector organizations. Responsibilities

  • Own the value proposition and messaging strategies for driving awareness and adoption of AWS Support tooling.
  • Work with engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits into product marketing messages.
  • Craft & develop compelling stories, content and tools (presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos, how to guides etc.) that land multi-channel.
  • Drive successful service launches inclusive of customer benefit messaging and positioning.
  • Own web strategy and AWS owned marketing channels including social, on-network promotion, events, and emails.
  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve business goals.
  • Continuously measure and optimize product marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels.
