About the position

The Product Marketing Manager I at GM Financial is responsible for leading and implementing marketing strategies aimed at enhancing awareness, engagement, and affinity with both B2C and B2B customers. This role involves executing go-to-market strategies for various initiatives that align with business goals, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The position requires a strong focus on understanding customer needs and translating them into effective marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high profile marketing initiatives that align with business needs and create an exceptional customer experience.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product managers and marketing team members to plan and implement goals, strategies, and campaigns around products and consumer touchpoints.
  • Build and manage communications and relationships with key stakeholders and influencers contributing to B2C/B2B strategies.
  • Influence high-level prioritization of marketing initiatives to ensure optimal business results.
  • Participate in planning for the future direction of B2C/B2B channels and features.
  • Measure, assess, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and various tactics and collateral assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience as a product marketer or in a similar role required.
  • Experience in lifecycle marketing, account management, product marketing, product management, road mapping, and agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record of project execution, completing campaigns or projects on time and on budget.
  • Ability to assemble and interpret data to create business insights.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), cross-collaboration, and team skills.
  • Ability to adapt and multitask while staying focused on business outcomes.
  • Ability to understand complex issues and communicate them at a high level.
