About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Milliman's IntelliScript division will lead marketing efforts for the Irix product suite, focusing on developing and executing effective marketing strategies, messaging, and content aimed at target buyers and users. This role is pivotal in establishing the marketing function within the company, requiring collaboration with product and sales leaders to drive strategy and enhance product positioning in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive marketing efforts for the Irix product suite, ensuring prioritization, execution, and efficiency.
  • Lead and execute go-to-market and product growth and retention strategies for existing and new products.
  • Drive customer segmentation, positioning, and messaging for the product line.
  • Acquire market information, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs to inform marketing activities.
  • Execute and report on campaign performance using a data-driven approach in collaboration with other departments.
  • Foster high engagement and collaboration across departments to align activities with common goals.
  • Create sales enablement and customer-facing content in collaboration with the Marketing team and product management.
  • Implement best practices in brand and product marketing.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of relevant B2B experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in product marketing.
  • Experience in software-as-a-service, actuarial or data science, and/or insurance underwriting industry.
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, both written and verbally.
  • Mastery in go-to-market methodology and product marketing principles.
  • Mastery in competitive market analysis.
  • Ability to write and create product content quickly and concisely for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of driving adoption, growth, and results for an established product.

Nice-to-haves

  • Continued education and/or advanced degree(s).
  • Experience in environments subject to HIPAA and/or PCI regulations.
