About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for International at Meta's Reality Labs is a pivotal role focused on driving and managing the portfolio of products across international markets. This position is integral to the team that is dedicated to building the next computing platform centered around people, leveraging groundbreaking research in emerging technologies, software, and hardware. The successful candidate will spend a significant amount of time developing and executing strategies that support the growth of Reality Labs' products internationally, while also monitoring overall portfolio performance and incorporating customer feedback to enhance products and services. To excel in this role, the candidate must possess a strategic vision combined with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. They should have substantial experience in international product marketing, particularly in consumer electronics, and be adept at navigating the complexities of operating a consumer electronics business across diverse customer types, geographies, and competitive landscapes. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and will be skilled at prioritizing and pivoting quickly in response to changing priorities. The role requires a deep understanding of the consumer journey, user insights, and market dynamics to inform business strategy. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with various teams, including Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Sales, to ensure that the products meet market needs and drive engagement. This position is not only about strategic oversight but also involves hands-on execution and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product launches and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Inform and guide strategic decisions and tradeoffs related to product growth in international markets.
  • Define prioritization, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics across cross-functional business initiatives to achieve product and engagement growth.
  • Lead growth initiatives through quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback, representing the customer's point of view internally.
  • Partner with Reality Labs HW and SW teams to improve overall product-market fit in international markets.
  • Define and develop the business strategy grounded in consumer journey frameworks, user insights, and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on developing marketing programs and strategies based on consumer insights.
  • Work with the Sales team on category analysis, presentation materials, and creative assets for in-market products.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with inbound or outbound product marketing for consumer tech hardware and/or software.
  • Combination of strategic product marketing experiences and hands-on tactical execution.
  • Experience with customer research and proficiency in using data and insights to inform product and go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Experience delivering product launch results with internal and external partners.

Nice-to-haves

  • Product Marketing experience in consumer hardware, software products, and electronics.
  • Domain knowledge in AR/VR, wearable devices, mobile devices, and/or hardware/software platforms.
  • Experience with both early-stage products and established products.
  • Experience with end-to-end product lifecycle management.
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, product development, or related field.
  • MBA degree.
