About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for AWS Managed Services (AMS) will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that highlight the value of AMS offerings to customers. This role involves understanding customer needs, creating compelling messaging, and driving marketing initiatives to enhance service adoption and retention. The manager will collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness in marketing efforts, ultimately contributing to the growth of AWS services.

Responsibilities

  • Drive understanding of AWS Managed Services portfolio messaging and positioning for AWS.
  • Identify the target audience, buyer personas, and buyer journeys for the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with product teams to distill features and benefits of major launches into positioning and messaging.
  • Develop audience-specific messaging, marketing content, and go-to-market materials (presentations, customer stories, product videos, webpages, and more).
  • Develop and execute on innovative product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively.
  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as product, marketing, sales, business development, and enablement to achieve joint business goals.
  • Define business metrics, measurement plan, and continuously measure and optimize your product marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience with Managed Services
