About the position

The Product Marketing Manager - Market Development at Meta Reality Labs is responsible for leading the growth of potential audiences for augmented reality products across various geographies. This high-visibility role involves developing strategies for product launches, conducting market research, and ensuring alignment between product groups and business development opportunities. The position requires a strong focus on cross-functional leadership and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive strategies to support the launch of products in new geographies and verticals.
  • Provide critical support on unplanned high-priority projects, creating structure and execution plans.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, challenges, and trends in target markets.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategy and execution for the Augmented Reality business.
  • Build strategic capabilities to identify and prioritize business development opportunities.
  • Identify and resolve critical program risks, particularly with external factors like industry trends.
  • Lead work across teams to inform annual planning, investment strategy, and prioritization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, strategy, management consulting, product management, portfolio operations, or a technical field.
  • 7+ years of business experience, including managing cross-functional and global teams in technology, internet, or media industries.
  • Experience working directly with partners and stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-suite level.
  • Experience delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to bring together a range of perspectives and personalities.
  • Experience creating structure and execution plans in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • JD, MBA, or a graduate degree in business, strategy, management consulting, product management, portfolio operations, or a technical field.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $158,000 to $223,000 per year, plus bonus and equity.
