About the position

The Product Marketing Internship at TikTok is designed for students pursuing a full-time MBA or related discipline, offering hands-on experience in developing go-to-market strategies for TikTok's eCommerce products. Interns will engage in driving product education, adoption, and revenue while collaborating with various teams to enhance the seller journey. This 12-week program, starting in May/June 2025, aims to provide industry exposure and personal growth opportunities through practical application and workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in driving go-to-market strategies including targeting, segmentation, positioning, value propositions, messaging, marketing channels, and budgets across the seller journey.
  • Partner with marketing teams to ensure the product suite is on-message and maximized across each channel.
  • Develop and implement data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies to promote product growth and retention.
  • Work with Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) to track marketing program performance and improve through continuous testing.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for your product, providing white glove product support, supporting the building of roadmaps, running enablement sessions, and participating in QA testing.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a full-time MBA or related discipline.
  • Experience in product marketing, growth, or lifecycle marketing in eCommerce or social commerce.
  • Experience working with product management, analytics, and design.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in growth and lifecycle marketing via email, in-product, content marketing, and other owned channels.
  • Experience working with and influencing cross-functional partners (marketing, design, copywriting).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, A/B testing, and analytical tools.
