About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager for Migration and Modernization at AWS, you will define the value proposition for migrating to and modernizing with AWS. This role involves crafting compelling messaging and content to drive awareness and adoption of AWS services, collaborating with engineering and sales teams to promote new features, and engaging with customer communities to foster advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Craft & develop compelling stories, content and tools (e.g. presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos) that communicate the migration and modernization value proposition.
  • Own content strategy and execution for key communication channels including website, blog, social media, events, and emails.
  • Work with engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits into product marketing messages.
  • Engage with customer communities to drive AWS advocacy.
  • Drive successful service launches inclusive of customer benefit messaging and positioning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
  • 5+ years executing technology product launches.
  • 5+ years marketing to enterprise buyers.
  • 5+ years creating product and category level messaging and positioning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cloud computing or technology marketing.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and solutions.
