About the position

The Product Marketing Manager at Retool will play a critical role in reshaping global markets by driving the messaging and go-to-market strategies for the company's innovative software development platform. This position requires a deep understanding of the enterprise SaaS landscape and a passion for technology and strategic thinking. The manager will be responsible for crafting clear messaging, executing product launches, and advocating for customer needs within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a firm grasp of our market to craft and drive messaging.
  • Distill complexity into clarity and arm a large team of sellers to do the same.
  • Obsess about finding and destroying all points of friction on the customer journey.
  • Identify and share a deep understanding of buyer personas and ideal customer profiles.
  • Design brilliant and multi-faceted go-to-market strategies.
  • Execute flawless launches from portfolio planning through significant customer adoption.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
  • World-class writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Technical depth required to understand how our portfolio works and how customers perceive and receive value from them.
  • An insatiable intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong affinity for operations teams, with a deep understanding of the tools, ecosystems, and processes that organizations use.
