About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for NGS at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is responsible for leading cross-functional efforts to address customer needs for IDT's xGen NGS product portfolio. This role involves executing marketing and product launch campaigns that drive awareness and revenue, while collaborating with various teams including product management, R&D, marketing, and sales. The position requires a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends within the NGS market segments, and the ability to translate this knowledge into effective marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional efforts between product management, R&D, marketing, and sales to address customer needs for IDT's xGen NGS product portfolio.
  • Develop marketing briefs and strategic marketing plans based on customer and market insights to drive lead generation and product launch campaigns.
  • Collaborate with IDT Product Marketing/Management, Product Development, and Project Management to create accurate marketing personas and effective customer segmentation strategies.
  • Plan, craft, and execute impactful marketing campaigns, collateral, and content, ensuring alignment with market segment needs.
  • Work with third parties to enhance product awareness and positioning, partnering with digital marketing and web development experts for campaign execution.
  • Own and be accountable for the success of marketing campaigns, using metrics to ensure key performance indicators are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, life science (biology, chemistry, biochemistry) or other relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in life sciences marketing or laboratory experience in next generation sequencing.
  • Demonstrated domain expertise in the application of NGS.
  • Experience in defining product marketing strategy, creating marketing plans, and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Willingness to travel 20%, domestically or internationally.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience working directly with IDT's product portfolio.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, PhD) in business or life sciences.
