About the position

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for leading Genera's product marketing initiatives, which include defining product lines, managing new product introductions, and developing go-to-market strategies. This role focuses on understanding customer needs and delivering products that align with market demands while ensuring growth and profitability for the company. The manager will oversee the product portfolio, set pricing, and collaborate with various internal teams to ensure successful product launches and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Genera's product roadmap including new product targets and key metrics.
  • Set base pricing for new products and manage workflow for new product development.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to set finished good specifications.
  • Assess market demand to identify product opportunities and translate customer requirements into product attributes.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders and deliver regular volume, revenue, and profit forecasts.
  • Promote products to sales teams through training sessions and materials.
  • Monitor current products and improve performance based on new information and technologies.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging aligned with the company's core mission.

Requirements

  • College degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong track record of creating and delivering value for customers.
  • Product management experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience managing complex and technical customer challenges.
  • Formal training in product management and related systems and metrics.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of molded fiber product technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the packaging industry from a manufacturing company.
  • Familiarity with using ERP, CRM, and various business tools.
