About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Panametrics at Baker Hughes is a pivotal role that focuses on developing and executing product marketing strategies that align with market needs and drive profitability across the Panametrics product portfolio. This position is integral to the success of the marketing team, which is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for measuring and analyzing moisture, oxygen, liquid, steam, and gas flow across various industries, including oil and gas. The individual in this role will leverage market intelligence to identify customer requirements and unmet needs, ensuring that the product marketing strategy is both effective and responsive to market trends. In this role, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing New Product Introduction (NPI) launches and commercialization activities. This includes collaborating with the Strategic Marketing and Product Management teams to conduct market research, gather voice of customer insights, and develop a differentiated value proposition. The manager will also create product messaging, marketing collateral, and sales enablement materials as the launch date approaches. Additionally, the role involves executing marketing campaigns for existing products, ensuring that sales enablement materials are effectively utilized across the Panametrics portfolio. Collaboration is key in this position, as the Product Marketing Manager will work closely with Product Management, Technology, Commercial, and Project Management teams to develop go-to-market strategic plans. This includes crafting value propositions, positioning, messaging, and commercial activation strategies. The manager will also partner with Regional Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to deploy product marketing campaigns effectively, considering budget constraints and team bandwidth. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overarching product marketing strategy for Panametrics and the Precision Sensors and Instrumentation business, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the execution of Panametrics' product marketing strategy based on market intelligence.
  • Execute New Product Introduction (NPI) launches and commercialization activities across the Panametrics product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Marketing and Product Management teams on market research and voice of customer insights.
  • Create differentiated value propositions, product messaging, and marketing collateral for product launches.
  • Execute product marketing campaign activities for existing products, including sales enablement materials.
  • Partner with Product Management, Technology, and Commercial teams to develop go-to-market strategic plans.
  • Work with Regional Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to deploy product marketing campaigns effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a relevant subject from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Extensive experience in Product Marketing.
  • Proven ability to formulate and achieve goal-oriented action plans.
  • Exceptional oral and written English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Technically competent in value proposition development, product positioning, and new product commercialization.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with globally located stakeholders.
  • Influential, energetic, and enthusiastic mindset with a drive to deliver outstanding performance.
