About the position

Verily is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager with expertise in growing and scaling a healthcare data management and analytics platform. This role is pivotal in crafting the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for two key solutions: Verily Workbench, a secure research environment that enables researchers to access, analyze, and collaborate on complex datasets, and Verily's precision health platform, which focuses on data management, AI/ML model development, governance, and analysis features. The target customers for these solutions include pharmaceutical companies and data providers such as biobanks and NGOs. In this position, you will serve as the voice of potential customers, identifying platform use cases, defining key customer segments, and spotlighting emerging market trends. You will also report on competitor performance and pressure-test potential product features and concepts, including the use of AI/ML. Your responsibilities will include building market sizing analyses (TAM, SAM, SOM) and conducting research to refine pricing strategies. You will own the GTM strategy for Verily's data organization products, collaborating with product and commercial leadership to identify the right SaaS pricing model and strategy, as well as emerging trends and customer needs. Your role will also involve creating compelling marketing collateral that brings Verily's capabilities to life. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive product marketing skill set, including generating buyer insights through primary research, conducting competitive analysis, developing differentiated positioning and messaging, and building pricing models and strategies. You will need to synthesize data to align product vision and roadmaps with customer and market needs, and have a deep understanding of the life science, pharma, and data generator segments. Additionally, first-hand experience in growing and scaling a multi-tenancy platform product is essential. This position reports to the Head of Product Marketing and Market Research.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and refine the GTM strategy for Verily Workbench and the precision health platform.
  • Create foundational marketing collateral including personas, pitch decks, claims documentation, and case studies.
  • Partner with commercial and product leadership to test and refine the appropriate SaaS pricing model.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the GTM strategy resonates in the market and create feedback loops for refinement.
  • Conduct competitive landscape analyses and develop differentiated messages for product teams.
  • Serve as marketing strategist for new product introductions and feature releases.
  • Work collaboratively across product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure effective releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, strategic consulting, or product management, with at least 5 years in healthcare.
  • Experience scaling a healthcare data organization and analytics platform, especially with multi-tenancy architecture.
  • Experience with SaaS pricing models, including consumption-based pricing.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies tailored to B2B customers, including pharmaceutical companies and life science companies.
