About the position
The Product Marketing Manager / Product Manager for Connectivity at Verkada is responsible for leading both product management and marketing efforts for the company's newest product category. This role is designed for a product marketer with a background in computer science or engineering, providing an opportunity to shape product strategy, roadmap, and features for a rapidly growing portfolio. The position requires collaboration across various departments including Engineering, Design, Sales, and Supply Chain, making it a highly cross-functional role.
Responsibilities
- Envision, build, and launch new Connectivity products in collaboration with Engineering, Design, Supply Chain.
- Develop the marketing collateral needed to support these launches, and train our Sales team on new products and feature releases.
- Gather customer feedback and dig into customer use cases to prioritize feature development and sharpen messaging.
- Own the overall success of the business (i.e. bookings goal) and lead quarterly business reviews with executive team.
- Partner with the Sales team to close strategic customer accounts.
- Make data-driven decisions to define and optimize product pricing.
- Manage technology partnerships with complementary tech companies.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a similar role at a B2B technology company.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field.
- Experience working cross-functionally with teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, Creative, and Marketing.
- Strong ability to write for various audiences, including technical content.
