About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for both new and existing products. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth market research to gain a deep understanding of target customers, their pain points, and the competitive landscape. You will collaborate closely with the product management team to define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with our customers. Additionally, you will create impactful content such as datasheets, presentations, web copy, and other marketing materials to support sales and enhance customer education. In this role, you will devise effective demand generation campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, email marketing, and events, to drive qualified leads. You will work closely with sales teams to provide product training, sales enablement tools, and support to facilitate successful customer acquisition. Monitoring and analyzing key product marketing metrics, such as lead generation, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs, will be essential to optimizing your strategies. Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs will help you identify new opportunities for product marketing initiatives. You will partner with customer success teams to gather customer feedback and insights, which will inform future product and marketing plans. Collaboration is key, as you will work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless go-to-market execution. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of developing and managing marketing or channel programs experience
  • 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience in online marketing channels such as social media marketing, display advertising, and search engine marketing

Nice-to-haves

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
  • Knowledge of HTML, SQL, Excel
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, or basic data-mining
