About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Ansys Discovery is responsible for developing sales readiness materials and marketing strategies to support growth and revenue goals. This role involves creating product messaging, content strategies, and managing external partnerships, with a focus on executing effective marketing campaigns that drive significant pipeline and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver value-based messaging for Ansys Discovery to prospective and existing customers and partners.
  • Create and develop marketing plans and lead generation campaign kits targeting the global design engineering audience.
  • Execute product marketing for new feature and product launches as part of a biannual release cycle.
  • Compose engaging audience-specific marketing content, including case studies, solution briefs, web content, presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, and sales playbooks.
  • Drive product promotion across social media, third-party websites, blogs, and other digital mediums.
  • Track product-related leads and accurately report marketing campaign success against business goals.
  • Partner with corporate and industry marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns that drive new business and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Deliver training for global field sales teams to ensure effective product positioning.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand product features, positioning, and messaging.
  • Measure and report the ROI of product marketing tactics through monthly analysis.

Requirements

  • BS in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 3 years of experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of computer-aided engineering concepts and engineering simulation processes.
  • Broad functional expertise across several marketing competencies (Digital, Social, ABM, eCom).
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and execute global product marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters or other advanced degree in Marketing or Engineering.
  • Previous experience in product marketing.
  • Experience in simulation-based engineering-related software domains.
  • Experience supporting global B2B and B2C demand generation campaigns.
