About the position

At AlertMedia, we are dedicated to our mission of saving lives and minimizing loss by identifying active threats globally and facilitating timely communications when emergencies arise. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in this mission by leveraging your deep understanding of customers, markets, and products to create effective go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement content. Your insights will be drawn from customers, internal teams, and research, allowing you to craft messaging that drives awareness, purchase, and adoption of AlertMedia's solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to position our current and future solutions effectively. You will be responsible for developing core positioning and messaging targeted at both technical and business audiences. Additionally, you will lead efforts to understand our buyer's journey, addressing their pain points through success stories and customer advocacy initiatives. Your creativity will shine as you develop solution-oriented content to build awareness and support demand generation and sales, including collateral, website content, videos, webinars, press releases, and customer communications. As a product, domain, and market expert, you will engage in conversations and presentations with customers, analysts, and the press. You will also plan the launch of new releases, managing the launch campaign to current and prospective customers. This position reports to the VP of Product Marketing, and you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Your roll-up-your-sleeves approach will be essential in supporting the team and the business as we continue to grow and meet the demands of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for AlertMedia's products, targeted to both technical and business audiences.
  • Lead efforts to fully understand our buyer's journey, solving their pain through success stories and leading customer advocacy initiatives.
  • Develop and partner to create solution-oriented content to build awareness and support demand generation and sales, including collateral, website content, videos, webinars, press releases, and customer communications.
  • Act as product, domain, and market expert when required via conversations and presentations to customers, analysts, or the press.
  • Plan the launch of new releases, managing the launch campaign to current and prospective customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a product marketing role.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders - both internal and external - to successfully deliver on programs and campaigns.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes.
  • Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of content efforts.
  • A history of success delivering product launches, and creating and managing marketing programs.
  • Incredible communicator, with an ability to influence and compel through a confident and credible delivery.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, while working across sometimes diverse teams (Technical, Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing).
  • Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day grind to help AlertMedia's customers get more from our service.
