About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager focused on our SaaS technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving awareness, demand, and adoption of products that address some of the world's most complex challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with various teams to create and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns. This includes developing product positioning and messaging, orchestrating product launches, and formulating go-to-market strategies. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with product management, product engineering, product development, global business development, and corporate marketing teams. You will spearhead the communication strategy for significant changes in product functionality, lifecycle, and pricing, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders are well-informed. Additionally, you will lead, coordinate, and execute global product release activities, manage internal communications, and enable multi-channel marketing efforts. Your collaboration with product management and engineering teams will be crucial in distilling key features and capabilities into compelling messages that drive global awareness and adoption. You will also be responsible for crafting and developing educational materials for prospects and users, which may include web pages, emails, videos, case studies, press releases, and product resources. Understanding user and buyer persona needs will be essential for creating effective personas, positioning, and value-based messaging for the products in your portfolio. Furthermore, you will provide insights into competitive capabilities and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and usage. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to ensure the successful marketing of our SaaS products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, product engineering, product development, global business development, and corporate marketing.

  • Lead, coordinate, and execute global product release activities, internal communications, and multi-channel enablement.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to distill key features and capabilities into messages that drive global awareness and adoption.
  • Craft and develop materials to educate prospects and users; including web pages, emails, videos, case studies, press releases, and product resources.
  • Understand user and buyer persona needs to create personas, positioning, and value-based messaging for products in your portfolio.
  • Provide insight into competitive capabilities.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators to measure product performance and usage.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in product, industry, or corporate marketing; communications; business development; consulting; or similar field.
  • Proven verbal and written communications skills; ability to understand and convey technical information in a non-technical manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and thrives in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience with marketing technology and common marketing concepts.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with previous experience leading programs or highly visible projects.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Self-starter, detail and task-oriented; able to successfully manage multiple priorities with guidance from leadership.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events and/or tradeshows.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.

  • Demonstrated ability in releasing and growing innovative technology products.
  • Experience with cloud and data center infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership to drive alignment and influence recommendations and trade-offs.
  • Experience using GIS applications.
  • Master's degree (MBA and/or a computer science, engineering, technology background).
