About the position

As the Product Marketing Manager/Senior Product Marketing Manager at Verkada, you will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for various product verticals, including security cameras and access control. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and features into marketing and sales efforts, manage product launches, and create supporting collateral to enhance customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop product positioning and competitively differentiated messaging based on user research and market insights.
• Partner with the Product Management team to set a go-to-market strategy, including targeted markets, pricing, and product rollout.
• Lead the launch of new camera products, managing deliverables and timelines to maximize impact.
• Collaborate with Brand, Creative, and Demand Generation teams to enhance market presence and drive pipeline through key outbound assets.
• Work with Channel and Sales Enablement teams to effectively position products and develop assets to improve win rates.
• Become a product subject matter expert and cross-functional leader to drive business results.

Requirements

• 2-8 years of product marketing or similar experience, or prior management consulting experience.
• Experience working cross-functionally with teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, Creative, and Marketing.
• Strong writing skills for various audiences, including technical content.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus but not required.
