About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Threads at Meta is responsible for defining and executing a multi-year video investment strategy and go-to-market plans. This role involves collaboration across various teams to launch and scale products, while also synthesizing insights to shape product direction and better serve the audience of creators.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product management and engineering to define and shape a multi-year video investment strategy and roadmap.
  • Envision and execute go-to-market plans for Threads, collaborating across engineering, product management, partnerships, operations, partner marketing and communications to test, announce, launch, & scale products.
  • Surface & synthesize qualitative & quantitative insights that shape product direction.
  • Shape the Threads approach to text creation through audience segmentations, market analyses, and first-person research.
  • Understand and evangelize for the needs of creators, actively identifying gaps and opportunities to better serve the audience.
  • Influence the development of products and features that support Threads and Meta's ecosystem of tools for expression.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in business strategy or product marketing.
  • Experience launching and driving adoption for new products and services, owning and achieving KPIs.
  • Ability to convey ideas to end users and engineering teams alike.
  • Experience developing marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
