About the Role: Upgrade Card offers customers a better way to pay for everyday purchases by combining the convenience of a credit card with the predictability of a personal loan. We are seeking a passionate, customer-focused and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our talented Marketing team as we continue to expand this core product to new customers and drive deeper engagement with our existing customer base. You will play a critical role in driving the success of our Upgrade Card product, working closely with our Product Management team and other Upgrade Marketing team members. You'll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact, managing acquisition strategy, customer experience and driving usage of product features for Upgrade Card. You'll translate business strategy into tactical plans and be able to execute them yourself. You'll partner closely with other stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Design, Legal, Compliance, Operations and other cross functional teams. You are a self-starter and willing to jump in to tackle a wide range of marketing needs like creating copy, collateral, and other communications material. This role will be based in our San Francisco office in a hybrid capacity two times per week.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of acquisition and customer engagement marketing campaigns, supporting product strategy and business objectives, while leveraging product value propositions and customer insights.
  • Lead the end to end marketing campaign and communication development process, including content creation, test plan development and stakeholder reviews.
  • Collaborate with Design, Analytics and Lifecycle teams to build meaningful and measurable campaigns.
  • Work closely with our Legal and Compliance partners internally and ensure all collateral has external Bank Partner review and approval.
  • Continuously optimize acquisition and customer engagement communications through test and learn strategies and ongoing testing cadence.
  • Collaborate with product managers on new and existing features to develop new communications and provide customer experience guidance.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, customer feedback to develop actionable insights and ideate solutions to deliver new customer touchpoints and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on defining and leading go to market strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in A/B testing, with a proven track record of designing and executing a test plan.
  • Experience collaborating across departments to deliver initiatives that deliver solid learnings and improved customer outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in fintech.
