About the position

The Product Marketing Manager V at BCforward is responsible for leading marketing initiatives, developing marketing strategies, and managing a marketing team to drive product adoption in specific markets. This role focuses on crafting and promoting marketing messages, conducting market analysis, and aligning marketing efforts with organizational goals. The position offers the opportunity to influence long-term revenue through the successful introduction of a new product.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, and coach marketing team members; set clear job expectations and performance standards; conduct performance appraisals and manage compensation actions.
• Contribute to strategic plans by providing marketing insights; prepare action plans and monitor implementation to meet production, quality, and customer service standards; resolve operational issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Forecast marketing requirements; prepare annual budgets; analyze financial variances and implement corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
• Identify and define market opportunities by understanding consumer needs, analyzing competitor strengths and weaknesses, and establishing targeted market share.
• Enhance product marketability by researching market opportunities, improving product packaging, and coordinating new product development efforts.
• Collect and analyze data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Achieve organizational goals by delivering results that align with the overall marketing and business mission.

Requirements

• 3-4+ years of experience in product marketing
• In-bound research experience
• Proven ability to present effectively to executive leadership
• Experience collaborating with sales teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
