About the position

The Product Marketing Manager V position at BCforward is a contract role focused on developing and executing marketing strategies for developer infrastructure software. The successful candidate will act as a thought leader, collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive product adoption and influence stakeholders across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of the developer tooling market and the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build successful marketing and communications strategies by leveraging a clear mission with a collaborative mindset.
  • Rally focus and prioritization of narratives and moments to communicate with internal customers.
  • Partner with leadership and product managers to set product adoption goals, develop execution strategies, track and analyze performance, and drive adoption of narratives.
  • Design the team's operating model to build systems for collaboration and scale communication within the organization.
  • Design effective Go to Market strategies for multi-ecosystem developer solutions.
  • Ensure alignment, consistency, and flexibility in approach across Dev-Infra to maximize growth and scale impact.

Requirements

  • 12+ years professional experience in technology or advertising.
  • Product marketing or related experience in the developer productivity or tooling space.
  • Experience presenting to groups/C-level executives.
  • Proven record of building, mentoring, and leading a team with a culture of inclusion and engagement.
  • Track record of influencing behavior at various levels in the organization, including cross-functional leaders.
  • Customer service orientation and experience in a client-facing capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience to drive resolution in the context of competing perspectives.
  • Strong organizational and people skills with the ability to set priorities and work independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with performance advertising across display, ad networks, and/or search.
  • Strong understanding of developer infrastructure software, processes, and tooling.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time).
