About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Wearable Devices at Meta is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy and product marketing efforts for AI and AR wearable products. This role involves influencing product development, creating marketing plans, and driving business growth by representing customer perspectives and market insights. The position is critical in preparing for the launch of future wearable devices, ensuring alignment between product features and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market assessment, audience definition, and sizing through quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback.
  • Inform and guide strategic decisions related to product value, positioning, features, schedules, cost, pricing, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new products and drive integrated efforts across cross-functional teams.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to prioritize customer-centric approaches by building relationships and backing claims with data.
  • Partner with marketing, communications, and sales teams to develop campaign assets and product marketing communications.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of relevant product marketing experience influencing product roadmaps and developing go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated balance of creative and analytical thinking with a compelling vision and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform and influence product strategy.
  • Experience launching physical consumer products, such as consumer electronics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience identifying and analyzing long-term critical problems in marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance.
  • Experience with retail and POS strategies for consumer electronics, including product demos and education.
  • Growth mindset with a view of problems as opportunities and ambiguity as adventure.
  • Experience in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, and/or hardware/software platforms.
  • MS / MBA degree.
