About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Wearable Devices at Meta is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy and product marketing efforts for the company's future line of AI and AR glasses. This role involves influencing product development, conducting market assessments, and ensuring that customer perspectives are integrated into product strategies. The position is critical in driving the growth of Meta's wearable technology portfolio, particularly following the success of Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market assessment, audience definition, and sizing through quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback.
  • Inform and guide strategic decisions related to product value, positioning, features, schedules, cost, pricing, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new products and drive integrated efforts across cross-functional teams.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to prioritize customer needs and build relationships based on data and analyses.
  • Partner with marketing, communications, and sales teams to create campaign assets and product marketing communications.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of relevant product marketing experience influencing product roadmaps and developing go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated balance of creative and analytical thinking with a compelling vision and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform product strategy.
  • Experience launching physical consumer products, such as consumer electronics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience identifying and analyzing long-term critical problems in marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance.
  • Experience with retail and POS strategies for consumer electronics, including product demos and education.
  • Growth mindset with a view of problems as opportunities.
  • Experience in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, or mobile devices.
  • MS / MBA degree.
