About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for the Wearables Developer Ecosystem at Reality Labs, Meta, is responsible for driving the strategy and execution of product marketing initiatives for developer products within the wearables space. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, exceptional communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to influence product development and lead go-to-market strategies. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on product market fit and evolving tooling over a multi-year horizon.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with product teams to define the strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for developer products.
  • Define developer product positioning, naming, audience definition, and sizing for tooling across wearables programs.
  • Lead market assessment and sizing through quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback.
  • Represent the developer point of view internally with Product Management and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the definition and development of the go-to-market strategy based on user insights and market dynamics.
  • Guide cross-functional teams toward execution and launch of the GTM strategy through EOL.
  • Communicate GTM updates and reviews with cross-functional leadership.
  • Design tests, measure impact, and learn through a results-driven mindset.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in developer product marketing, product management, business strategy engineering, or a similar field.
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, product development, or related work experience.
  • Combination of strategic experiences and hands-on tactical execution.
  • Experience with research and proficiency in using data and insights to inform product and GTM strategy.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of developer toolchains.
  • Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with proven business acumen.

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters' degree or equivalent in business, marketing, analytics, engineering, or other related quantitative discipline (e.g. MBA).
  • Experience in product marketing and developing go-to-market strategies.
  • Domain knowledge in consumer wearable devices.
  • Experience working with development partners to influence nascent tooling design.
