About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Wearables at Meta Reality Labs is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy and execution for new wearable products, particularly in the AI and AR space. This role involves understanding the wearables ecosystem, developing marketing plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product success. The position requires a strategic vision, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an ongoing canonical understanding of the wearables ecosystem and competitive landscape to identify GTM considerations and growth opportunities.
  • Lead the development of go-to-market plans for new products and drive integrated efforts across cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and validate audience definition, product positioning, naming, and go-to-channel strategies.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to build with the customer at the core, using data and analyses to inspire change.
  • Partner with marketing, communications, and sales teams to create product marketing communications, including press releases and campaigns.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant product marketing experience influencing product roadmaps and developing go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience managing complex and ambiguous programs with significant self-direction.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in building new product categories.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to adapt and escalate issues early.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform product strategy.
  • Experience creating executive documents and presentations.
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of experience launching physical consumer products (e.g., consumer electronics).
  • Experience or domain knowledge in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, AI devices, and/or wearables.
  • Experience identifying and analyzing long-term critical problems and driving solutions across various business areas.
  • Experience with retail and POS strategies for consumer electronics, including product demos and education.
  • MS/MBA degree in a related field.
