About the position

Zendesk is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to enhance its Service narrative and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various teams to support product marketing functions such as research, messaging, positioning, and enablement, ultimately driving the company's goals. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders across sales strategy, marketing, and operations, and will be responsible for simplifying product functionality into value-based messaging and developing strategic frameworks for campaigns and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop fundamental insights of the market, customers, key buyers, and competitors.
  • Act as an evangelist for product strategy and functionality.
  • Simplify product functionality into real value-based messaging.
  • Enable internal partners with clear and consistent messaging and craft materials for customer-facing interactions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Success, Operations, and Enablement teams to develop strategic frameworks and assets for campaigns and press releases.
  • Bring an ownership mentality to offer innovative ideas to improve deliverables or processes.
  • Maintain internal alignment with other parts of the company.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years experience in Product Marketing in software and technology, preferably with SaaS and/or Customer Experience/Service software.
  • Proven experience managing a high-performing team, including coaching and development.
  • Strong storytelling skills, able to articulate ideas simply and straightforwardly.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and insight generation.
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on outcomes and a customer-first mentality.
  • BA/BS or equivalent.
